Snubbing


SnubbingRig Assist Snubbing units can provide a fast and economical means of running tubing under pressure. Working with the well live eliminates the risk of kill fluid damage and the time and expense of unloading fluids from the wellbore.

Great White Pressure Control’s compact “mini” hydraulic rig assist units are gooseneck trailer mounted for easy transportation and maneuverability on location. These units are complete with diesel fuel power units, jack assembly (available with or without work platform), pipe handling winch, 5,000 psi annular BOP, and some units with an available 5,000 psi Cameron Type-U BOP. The units can safely handle tubulars up to 3-1/2” at pressures up to 1500 psi and 2-7/8” and smaller tubing at 2000 psi. Rig up is quick, usually less than one hour.

Great White Pressure Control’s space saver rig assist units are mounted on bobtail trucks which are also the power units for the unit. The space saver have an eight foot stroke for quick trip times. The units are equipped with the same 5,000 psi anular BOP as the “mini” rig assist units, but also utilize two Cameron type-U BOPs which allow for ram to ram stripping at pressures slightly higher than those capable on the “mini” rig assist units. A large work basket with operators console allows for safe operations and has available pipe handling winch and power tongs.
